KGI HK may collect the Personal Data and from time to time, it is necessary for you to supply KGI HK with the Personal Data in connection with services provided to you and all the matters associated with the services provided. Failure to provide the Personal Data may result in KGI HK being unable to provide or continue to provide the services to you.

KGI Group will take all reasonably practicable steps to ensure that Personal Data will not be kept longer than it is necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes (or any directly related purpose) for which the Personal Data is or is to be used, unless the retention period is otherwise permitted or required by applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Under the PDPO, you may, in writing, request to access to the Personal Data belonging to you, correction of the Personal Data or for information regarding policies and practices. Any such written request should be sent to Suites 1206-1209 on Level 12, Three Pacific Place, 1 Queen’s Road East, Hong Kong, the office premises of KGI Bank. When handling a Personal Data access or correction request, KGI HK has the right to check the identity of the requestor to ensure that he/she is entitled to make such request. Under the provisions of the PDPO, KGI HK has the right to charge a reasonable fee for processing your access request to the Personal Data.

KGI HK undertakes to make its best efforts to protect the quality and integrity of the Personal Data held by it. KGI HK will take all practicable steps to ensure that the Personal Data held by it is protected against unauthorized or accidental access, processing, erasure or other unauthorized use, provided that KGI HK cannot ensure the security and confidentiality of the Personal Data which is transmitted through internet or other electronic means. Transmission of all of the Personal Data via the internet or other electronic means is made at your own risk.
